This program will give students hands-on experience learning the four main techniques of welding including: gas metal arc welding (MIG), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), flux-cored welding (FCAW), and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW or TIG). For Cesar Cordero, one of our dedicated welding instructors, the appeal lies in the creative potential of the craft. "To me, it’s art. I could pretty much take metal and glue it together or fuse it together and create something that doesn’t exist. Which is what draws me into it."
